Arts, Education, and the Economy

The French-American Foundation will welcome a representative from the French Ministry of Culture and Communication and a delegation of French experts from various creative and cultural fields, for a week-long study tour examining initiatives in New York at the forefront of innovation in the Arts, Arts Education, and entrepreneurship.

Delegates will meet and engage with representatives from various New York institutions and initiatives, including: The Juilliard School, Pratt Institute, Etsy, Brooklyn Tech Triangle, Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, and Pioneer Works. A reciprocal study tour involving a delegation of American experts in the Arts will take place in France in February, 2015.

Since 1998, the French-American Foundation and the French Ministry of Culture and Communication have organized reciprocal exchanges permitting French and American professionals and experts to share best practices and establish and strengthen ties between institutions across a wide range of cultural disciplines.
