The French-American Foundation is supported by the generous contributions of individuals, corporations, and foundations.
These contributions allow the Foundation to advance its goal of promoting solution-oriented dialogue between French and American leaders.
Donors may designate their contribution for operating or program support, and all contributions to the organization are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
The Foundation’s Gala is one of the most important dates on its annual calendar, for it offers an elegant and festive occasion to celebrate the French-American relationship and its own efforts over the year with many distinguished friends and benefactors.
Importantly, it is also the Foundation’s opportunity to honor those who have dedicated their time and energy to the lasting partnership between France and the United States.
The French-American Foundation is grateful to individuals who believe in our mission and support our work. Individuals stay involved with the Foundation through regular communications and are invited to several partner events each year. Individual supporters are recognized on the Foundation’s website and in the Annual Report at these levels.
Corporate donations are a critical part of Foundation’s annual operating budget and may support its infrastructure or specific initiatives. Corporate sponsors enjoy significant brand visibility as well as program-related promotional opportunities. The French-American Foundation understands that corporate sponsors have their own marketing and branding goals, and we will collaborate with sponsors to determine benefits that meet the objectives of both the company and the Foundation. Samples of benefits at various levels could include recognition in various Foundation materials, access to the Foundation’s network of French and American leaders and experts, inclusion in high-level exchanges and visibility through the Foundation’s public events, and attendance at the Foundation’s Annual Gala Dinner. Corporate supporters are recognized on the Foundation website and in the Annual Report.
The French-American Foundation works closely with, and benefits from, the generosity of multiple grant-making organizations.
The French-American Foundation serves as a forum for networking and discussing matters of relevance to the United States and France. The Foundation convenes conversations and promotes policy discussion without taking a specific policy stance on an issue. Through conferences, fellowships, and study tours, the Foundation creates opportunities for French and American leaders to come together to examine today’s most pressing issues and learn from each other’s experiences.
Partnership with the Foundation is an opportunity to shape important conversations, research, and policies relevant not only to the French-American relationship, but also with potential for greater application and impact. Programming is based on a variety of important and timely policy issues including economics, education, defense and security, media, foreign policy, immigration, sustainability, education, and more. Foundation partners are invited to join the French-American Foundation in its efforts to effect change in an area of mutual interest.
