The French-American Foundations in the US and France hosted a joint Zoom webinar on Thursday, July 2 at 12:30pm ET with two Young Leaders, Jason El Koubi (American Young Leader ’17) and David Vaillant (French Young Leader ’17), to discuss restarting the economy after COVID-19.

Jason El Koubi: Jason El Koubi was named Executive Vice President of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) in July 2017. In this role, he serves as the no. 2 executive for Virginia’s state economic development authority and oversees activities related to economic competitiveness, international trade, incentives, research, and operations.
David Vaillant: David joined BNP Paribas Asset Management as Global Head of Finance, Strategy and Participations on October 1st 2019. David joins from BNP Paribas’ Corporate and Institutional Banking / FIC division, where he was Head of Banking for EMEA. He has advised on some of the Group’s most transformational transactions, including the acquisition of Fortis, and has been a significant contributor to the BNP Paribas franchise across Europe and emerging markets.
