The French-American Foundation hosted a Zoom webinar to discuss the economic impacts of COVID-19. The event featured guest speaker Gregory Daco, Chief US Economist at Oxford Economics, and moderator Alexandre Chenesseau, Managing Director at Evercore.
Drawing from his expertise in US economic forecasting, Gregory examined the present impacts of the virus and what is projected to take place moving forward. He discussed the influence of human behavior on spending, the rates of job retention and loss, and the role that government stimulus packages could play in slowing a recession.
