As Global Vice-President for Digital Energy Management & Partnerships at Schneider Electric, Dr. Philippine de T’Serclaes is responsible for driving strategy and partnerships to accelerate the transformation to a sustainable energy future
Among the stakeholders she engages with are digital, institutional, financial, and academic partners, as well as strategic customers. A 25bn€ company, Schneider Electric (SE) is the world specialist in energy management and automation technologies. In addition to running these partnerships, Philippine is Sherpa to the Chairman and CEO and leads the G20/B20 cycles, OECD & Green Ministerial cycles, as well as strategic initiatives and customer engagement.
Prior to joining SE, Philippine was Executive Director at Aequero. She started her career in investment banking (Rothschild/ JPMorgan) and was Senior Finance Expert for the International Energy Agency (IEA) from 2006 to 2011.
She was on the board of the World Energy Council from 2013 to 2016. She was awarded the Rising Talent 2016 of the Women Forum for Economy and Society; the Future Energy Leaders’ 2017 by the Cambridge Energy Research and Associates (CERA), and the Choiseul #100 Economic Future Leaders’ 2017. She was expert reviewer of the IPCC 2007 and speaker at the Al Gore Solution Summit 2008. She holds a PhD in Economics from La Sorbonne, a MSc from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a 1st Honors BA in Political Science from McGill University.
