The French-American Foundation hosted a webinar with renowned French novelist Marc Levy to discuss the creative process. The event was moderated by author and Young Leader Karin Tanabe.
The author of nearly 20 books, Marc shared his insights into storytelling with our group. He discussed the challenges of fostering creativity under normal and challenging circumstances, ideas that have inspired him to create several of his books, and the power of being able to write oneself into the perspective of another.
Marc and Karin drew from their respective backgrounds to discuss writing during COVID-19 in particular, including the process of releasing a new novel in the crisis and the stories that come from it as time progresses.
The French-American Foundation developed this webinar initiative to continue our mission of encouraging transatlantic dialogue while prioritizing the health and safety of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our webinars take place throughout the month.
