Young Leaders Discuss Crisis Management
May 8, 2020
Crisis Management During COVID-19, April 30, 2020
The French-American Foundation hosted the first “Young Leaders Perspectives” webinar on the topic of crisis management during COVID-19.
The event featured guest speakers Chloe Demrovsky (President & CEO of Disaster Recovery Institute International and American Young Leader ’19) and Renaud Guidée (Chief Risk Officer at AXA and French Young Leader ’13) and was moderated by Philippine de T’Serclaes (Economist and French Young Leader ’17).
The speakers drew from their respective experiences in crisis management to examine the impact of the pandemic from a transatlantic perspective. Responding to questions from Philippine and audience members, Chloe and Renaud discussed what to expect as the pandemic unfolds, the industries hardest hit, and the strategies taken to date by governments and businesses around the globe. In addition, the speakers discussed potential strategies for public and private infrastructure to mitigate the impact of the virus.
Young Leaders Perspectives is a joint effort between the French-American Foundations in the US and France to offer a transatlantic insight into the crisis by members of our Young Leaders community. The webinars are free and open to the public. Click here to learn more about our digital platform.
