The French-American Foundation is delighted to share recent interviews with our 2024 Translation Prize winners! Get to know winners Frank Wynne, Angela Hunter and Rebecca Wilkin by reading their recent interviews, wherein they discuss their literary craft and winning translations, their journeys to becoming Francophiles, and what winning the Prize means to them.
Fiction Winner:
Frank Wynne, for his translation of The Annual Banquet of the Gravediggers’ Guild by Mathias Énard (New Directions Publishing)
Nonfiction Winners:
