Rachele Haber-Thomson
Rachele is a social entrepreneur, impact investor, and start-up advisor. She is the Co-Founder of Blue Dot, a sustainable promotional products company that is challenging the $24.7 billion industry to consider their supply chain and environmental impacts of the products they produce. She is also a strategy and operations consultant for start-ups and social enterprises. She supports early stage founders and CEO’s who are are at an inflection point, temporarily filling roles they aren’t quite ready to hire for, such as fractional COO or fundraising advisor. She is a mentor and judge for several accelerator programs, including Founders Institute, MassChallenges and Echoing Green. She is also a volunteer coach at GatherFor: a a support group for those struggling in the midst of the pandemic.
Her previous experience is in working at Fortune 500 companies (AOL, Yahoo!), as well a role as Director of Operations and Finance at Investors’ Circle, an angel investing network for impact investors, where she helped hundreds of companies successfully raise capital. She has a BA from University of Rochester in Economics and French, and an MBA from NYU Stern, and has spent a good amount of time working start-ups and investors in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
