The vital role that women play in our economy and in the economic stability of families

Online - Public

On January 26 at 1:00 pm ET, Chief Economist & Center Leader of Economy, Strategy & Finance at The Conference Board Dana Peterson will discuss the vital role that women play in our economy and in the economic stability of families. Women represent not only half of the world population, but also a sizable share of the workforce. The key to continued economic prosperity means ensuring that women participate in and contribute to the global economy through labor, consumption, and representation. Everyone can play a role in supporting greater equity and inclusion of women in the pursuit of strong economic growth.

The discussion will be moderated by one of our transatlantic forum members, Sonia Meskin. She was most recently a senior financial expert at the International Monetary Fund. Previously, she spearheaded US  economic coverage at Standard Chartered Bank, where she provided analysis of US economic and political developments to external clients and internal stakeholders.
