Sonia Meskin was most recently a senior financial expert at the International Monetary Fund. Previously, she spearheaded US economic coverage at Standard Chartered Bank, where she provided analysis of US economic and political developments to external clients and internal stakeholders.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2017, Sonia served for over 6 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, where she was involved in a variety of analytical endeavors. These included providing market intelligence to senior Federal Reserve principals and Treasury officials and serving as the point person on municipal and private credit markets specifically. Sonia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Masters degree from the London School of Economics.
