In partnership with the Information Security Forum (ISF), the French-American Foundation hosted a Zoom webinar on Thursday, November 5 at 1:00pm ET to discuss cyber security & COVID-19. The event featured guest speaker Steve Durbin, Managing Director of the ISF, and moderator Kathryn Harrison, Founder & CEO of DeepTrust Alliance and member of the French-American Foundation’s Transatlantic Forum.

Steve Durbin: Steve Durbin is the Managing Director of the Information Security Forum (ISF). His main areas of focus include strategy, information technology, cyber security and the emerging security threat landscape across both the corporate and personal environments.  He is a frequent speaker and commentator on technology and security issues.

Kathryn Harrison: Kathryn Harrison is the founder and CEO of the DeepTrust Alliance, a non-profit building the solutions and ecosystem to tackle deepfakes and misinformation. Prior to founding the DeepTrust Alliance, Kathryn spent nearly a decade at IBM. She most recently served as Director of Global Product Management for IBM Blockchain Platform, where she was responsible for developing and delivering IBM’s open source contributions to Hyperledger as well as its blockchain software products.

Founded in 1989, the Information Security Forum (ISF) is an independent, not-for-profit association of leading organizations from around the world. It is dedicated to investigating, clarifying, and resolving key issues in cyber, information security, and risk management and developing best practice methodologies, processes, and solutions that meet the business needs of its Members.
