A Conversation on Cyber Security with Robert Lee, CEO of Dragos

RSVP

The French-American Foundation was honored to welcome Dragos Chief Executive Officer Robert Lee on April 13 for a virtual fireside chat on critical cyber security challenges with General (ret.) Jean-Paul Paloméros, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and chair of the foundation’s Cyber Security program steering group. The discussion focused on critical cybersecurity challenges the world currently faces and how we can build a more secure digital world. Mr. Lee highlighted the massive transformation the global community is currently facing and the nature of world leaders’ responses to cyber disruptions. He also focused on cyber vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure systems and the links to geopolitics and national security.

Mr. Lee is a recognized pioneer in the industrial security incident response and threat intelligence community. After helping to lead the investigation into the 2015 cyber attack on Ukraine’s power grid, Mr. Lee and his team at Dragos also helped identify and analyze the CRASHOVERRIDE malware that attacked Ukraine’s grid in 2016.

In partnership with our sister foundation in France, this webinar was part of a larger Cyber Security program at the foundation that brings together leaders from government, industry, academia and the non-profit sector to discuss critical and timely cyber security issues such as critical infrastructure protection.

The French-American Foundation has a longstanding commitment to advancing dialogue on cyber security-related topics of mutual concern for France and the United States. The Cyber Security Program comprises the annual Cyber Security Conference and relevant events in our other program initiatives that assemble leaders in military, government, industry, and academia to examine emerging cyber security challenges in a transatlantic context.
