Richard Adenot
Richard Adenot is a digital artist within the animation industry. At Illumination, a Franco-American subsidiary of Universal Pictures, he leads more than 350 artists on animated feature films. He is currently working on “Despicable Me 4”.
After higher education in computer arts and animation, he joined Illumination Studios Paris. Over the last 10 years, he contributed to numerous productions within the studio, some of which topped the box office (Sing 1 and 2, Minions, Despicable Me, etc.). As a young artist within this studio, his first role was as a “Clothing Animator”. He then became a “Digital Stylist” during which time he tailored the suit of Buster Moon, the hero koala of the “Sing” franchise, as well as the skirt of his reptilian secretary, Miss Crawly.
His curiosity and leadership skills led him to a key role of the animation industry as a Computer Graphics Supervisor on “Sing 2”.
In 2022 his work on the movie was recognized by the Hollywood organization the “Visual Effects Society” (VES) where he was nominated in 2022 in the “Outstanding Visual Effects in an Animated Feature” category. He is now an active member of the VES.
