Victor Carreau
After graduating from HEC and starting his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, Victor Carreau joined the PJX10 think tank in 2015. As part of a team of a dozen people, gathered around, amongst others, Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet (ex-Priceminister), he spends a year investigating various sectors, such as agriculture, health, education, energy, real estate and fintech, in search of the next big ideas for tomorrow’s most promising startups. There, he meets Maxime Albertus and Nicholas Findling, with whom he founds Comet Meetings in 2016.
The trio first designed Comet Meetings, new generation meeting and seminar venues whose fleet will soon include 10 assets in France, Belgium and Spain and whose ambition is to become the European leader. With more than €40 million raised in 6 years, Victor pursues with his partners the ambition to make Comet one of the key players in the Future of Work and has a strong vision for the future of the office world. His strong belief: “Meeting is the new office”, or when the office of tomorrow becomes a place of collaboration and socialization.
Under the impetus of the health crisis, the company has been accelerating since March 2020 the development of its second branch of activity, Hospitality by Comet. With more than 400,000m² of offices serviced on behalf of third parties, Comet now supports owners by rethinking their real estate assets so that they meet the needs of the 21st century.
Victor Carreau recently won the Mercure HEC Prize for Entrepreneurs and is a laureate of the Ville de Demain ranking of the Institut Choiseul.
