In coordination with the Consulate General of France in New York, the French-American Foundation hosted a Policy Breakfast the day after Super Tuesday on March 3, titled What’s So Super About Super Tuesday: The Foreign Policy Implications of the Primary’s Biggest Day. The event featured two Young Leader alumni, Richard Fontaine and Adam Hodge.

Richard Fontaine: Richard Fontaine is the President of the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). He served as a Senior Advisor and Senior Fellow at CNAS from 2009-2012 and previously as foreign policy advisor to Senator John McCain for more than five years. He has also worked at the State Department, the National Security Council and on the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Services Committees.

Adam Hodge: Adam Hodge is the Senior Vice President, External Affairs at Ariel Investments and a veteran strategic and crisis communications tactician with experience in government, political campaigns and on Capitol Hill. Prior to Ariel Investments, Adam joined SKDKnickerbocker from the Democratic National Committee where he was the Communications Director. Before that, he served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the Treasury Department where he received the Distinguished Service Award. At Treasury, Adam led strategic communications efforts for domestic finance issues, focusing on regulation of financial markets, Treasury’s investment portfolio, including General Motors and Ally Financial, and housing finance reform. He also directed the media strategy for several high profile legal challenges and Congressional investigations.
