Othman Nasrou

Othman Nasrou was born in 1987 in Casablanca, Morocco. He arrived in France at the age of 17 years old to pursue higher education. After preparatory classes at the Lycée Saint-Genevieve in Versailles, he joined the business school HEC Paris. At the end of his studies, he was naturalized and became a French citizen.

Since an early age, Othman Nasrou has been involved politically, first as President of the HEC Students Union and, later on, in the city of Trappes where he has been leading the opposition ever since the 2014 municipal elections.

Elected in 2015 alongside Valérie Pécresse in the Paris Region, he was initially the chairman of the economic development commission. In 2016, at the age of 28, he became Vice-President of the Region and was in charge of international affairs and tourism. The following year, he was elected chairman of the majority at the Regional Council composed of 80 elected officials. In 2020, he was named the 1st Vice President of the Paris Region and is in charge of international and European affairs.

Furthermore, in 2010, he founded a company which offers online management tools to associations. After selling this company in 2018, he became the head of a business incubator, which he has transformed financially.
