Joni Fontoura

Joni Fontoura is a seasoned investment professional specializing in digital, energy, and infrastructure. He currently serves as Managing Director & Partner at Reed Management.

Prior to Reed, Joni served on the investment team at Meridiam, a leading infrastructure investor, where he led transactions across multiple geographies, including inaugural investments in the North American energy sector and digital infrastructure. He also served on several boards, including LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B board in New York, and managed the firm’s relationships with financial institutions across the Americas.

Joni began his career at Lazard as an investment banker.

An engineer by training, Joni was also a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University, where he earned his master’s degree.
