Henri Buffeteau
MAJ Henri Buffeteau graduated from Saint-Cyr military academy in 2010 and from the French Infantry School in 2011. He served as a platoon leader and combat company commander in the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment of the French Foreign Legion, based in Corsica. He then served with the Joint Staff in Paris at the Center for Planning and Operations before becoming the Military Assistant to the Senior National Representative with the US Central Command, or USCENTCOM, in Tampa, Florida. He has also been deployed in Jordan and in the Central African Republic. He is a graduate of the French Ecole de Guerre – Terre, where he wrote a thesis about hybrid warfare online with the Rand Corporation in Washington D.C., and is also a graduate from the French Ecole de Guerre. He is currently working in the Office of the French Secretary of Defense, dealing with operations and international relations.
