Helen Lee Bouygues

Helen founded in 2011, Lee Bouygues Partners, a consulting firm focused on providing operational improvement consulting services and interim management for distressed companies

The firm today is composed of 8 consultants. As part of her cases, amongst others, she is currently acting CFO of Alltub Group and liquidator of Gavilon France.

She has also conducted projects for Eurodough SA and Mariteam SA. Prior, Ms. Bouygues was Senior Director and responsible for Private Equity relationships in France for 7 years at Alvarez & Marsal, a global turnaround firm. She worked on cases including, amongst others: Alcan Beauty Packaging, Mexx, SGD Group, DBA Apparel, CHC Helicopters and Diam International. From 2001 to 2004, Ms. Bouygues was chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Cogent Communications, a NASDAQ-listed telecom company.

During her tenure at Cogent, Ms. Bouygues acquired seven companies out of bankruptcy and was responsible for their integration. She also raised over $250 million in capital and renegotiated debt amounting to over $500 million. Ms. Bouygues started her career in M&A at J.P. Morgan in 1995 and subsequently worked as an Associate at the private equity firm, Audax Group.

Ms. Bouygues graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University in Political Science, and received an MBA from Harvard Business School. She has written a case for INSEAD’s Turnaround class and is a regular guest speaker.
