Elise Lavielle
Elise Lavielle is a high-ranking official, currently deputy-head of the cabinet of the Paris Police Prefect since June 2022. She has spent most of her career with the French Ministry for Internal Affairs, which she joined in 2013 as technical advisor for crime prevention and radicalization in the office of the Police Prefect. Appointed subprefect, head of the cabinet of the prefect of the Lorraine Region in 2014, she then joined the Public Liberties and Legal Affairs Department as deputy to the deputy director of administrative policing from 2016. From 2018 to 2020, Elise Lavielle is deputy director of internships at the Ecole nationale d’administration. Before taking up her current position, she was head of the office for the management of the prefectoral corps and senior civil servants at the Department of Modernization and Territorial Administration of Ministry for Internal Affairs from 2020 to 2022.
A graduate of the Ecole normale supérieure, the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (“Marie Curie” class) and Sciences Po, Elise Lavielle also specialized in German at the University of Paris IV Sorbonne and in Indonesian language and civilization at Inalco. This specialization led her to engage in several experiences in Indonesia.
Elise Lavielle is married and the mother of three and, in parallel with her professional activities, is a keen runner (marathon).
