Brian Moran is vice president, Government Affairs for Boeing in Europe
He is responsible for representing Boeing interests with European institutions including the European Commission and the European Parliament, as well as with NATO. He and his team also work closely with Boeing’s national offices across the Continent to build and manage an integrated government affairs strategy at the pan-European level. Moran is based in Brussels, Belgium, and reports to Sir Michael Arthur, president of Boeing Europe.
Previously, Moran was based in Berlin, Germany, from where he led Boeing International activities in Northern Europe, developing government and industry relationships and working closely with Boeing’s businesses to identify and assess new opportunities. Before that, Moran was director of Communications at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle, Washington, where he led a team focused on the development, integration and delivery of strategic messaging in the areas of product and services strategy, aviation and environmental policy, and international strategy.
Moran also served as senior manager of International Business Development for the Nordic region, Switzerland and the United Kingdom while based in London. Prior assignments at Boeing’s defense business included serving as chief of staff to the president and CEO and before that to the vice president for Business Development.
Moran holds a dual degree in international business and French from Lindenwood University and a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University’s Olin School of Business. Moran is an alumnus of the Atlantik-Brücke German-American Young Leaders program and completed a Brookings Institution fellowship on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.. Born and raised in Belgium, he speaks English, German and French.
