Benoît Claveranne

Benoît Claveranne is CEO of AXA International & New Markets, Member of the AXA Group Management Committee and also oversees innovation and health services at Group level. His mandate is to lead, create value, foster entrepreneurship and new business models in 30+ growing entities of the AXA Group across Europe, Middle-East, Africa, Americas and Asia. He has previously held Directorship positions at the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the French Treasury. He is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (SciencesPo Paris), the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Economics) and holds a Master in Economics from the Sorbonne University.

Over the past ten years, he has held several leadership positions at AXA involving business development, transformation and distribution across multiple markets, notably Europe and Asia. In 2016, he joined the AXA Group Management Committee as Group Chief Transformation Officer in charge of Distribution, Data, Information Technology, Operational Excellence and Procurement.

Previously, Benoît Claveranne held Directorship positions at the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the French Treasury. He is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA), the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (SciencesPo Paris), the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Economics) and holds a Master in Economics from the Sorbonne University.
