Anne-Laure de Chammard

Anne-Laure is President and CEO of Bureau Veritas Construction. This subsidiary of Bureau Veritas is the French market leader in its sector, generates a revenue of €150M and has a workforce of 1200 staff, most of whom engineers, across 100 locations. Her teams work on major and iconic construction projects such as the Grand Paris Express Metro Line, wind farms, nuclear plants or the 2024 Olympic Game stadiums. She promotes digital innovation to transform the company’s business models and improve and diversify its services, in order to continuously stay ahead of the game. She is member of the Executive Leadership Team of Bureau Veritas, which gathers the group Executive Committee and 20 senior officers.

Anne-Laure started her career in management consulting with the Boston Consulting Group in the US. She then entered the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Energy where she was in charge of major infrastructure projects (highways, high-speed railways, etc). She then joined Bureau Veritas in 2014 as Regional Director, before being promoted CEO of Bureau Veritas Construction in 2016.

Member of the “Corps des Ponts”, Anne-Laure graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Anne-Laure is married and mother of 3 children. She is also passionate about opera singing, has made recordings and given several concerts.
