Partner Event: Live-Streaming of The Misanthrope

The French-American Foundation is delighted to support the live-streamed staging of The Misanthrope from Saturday, May 2 to Wednesday, May 6 by Molière in the Park, an initiative based in Prospect Park that provides high-caliber theater that is free and available to the public. The production of The Misanthrope was originally intended to take place May 13-23 before COVID-19.

On May 2nd, we will stream our performance on YouTube at 7pm. Our cast will perform Richard Wilbur’s English translation of The Misanthrope from their homes in New York City, Milwaukee, and Perugia, Italy. Can’t make it to the initial stream? No problem. A recording will be available on our YouTube channel through May 6th, but at 7pm, it will be gone forever!
