In Memory of David McGovern

The French-American Foundation mourns the loss of David McGovern, founding member of the Foundation and former member of the Board of Directors, who passed away on February 7th at his home in Paris.
While a Partner in Paris at Shearman & Sterling, Mr. McGovern was responsible for establishing the legal framework of the Foundation in France. He was committed to the Franco-American partnership and held roles at the American Chamber of Commerce and the American Hospital in Paris. He will be greatly missed by the French-American Foundation’s community.
