Paula Henin

Paula Henin is an associate attorney in the international arbitration and litigation group of the international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, based in New York. She specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration, public international law and transnational litigation.  She was previously based in the firm’s London office.

Prior to joining Skadden, Paula clerked for The Honorable Charles N. Brower, a leading independent international arbitrator, then based in The Hague, The Netherlands. Additionally, while in law school, Paula trained with the international arbitration groups of two leading law firms in Paris, at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, and in the global business compliance department of a global media and information company in New York.

Paula is dual trained in French and American law, having received her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School (which she attended as a Fulbright scholar), as well as a Maîtrise en droit and a Master 2 in international commercial law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE).
