Maya Kalieva

Maya Kalieva Henry is a Senior Vice President and investment professional at PIMCO, one of the world’s largest and leading investment management firms. In her role, she leads key strategic relationships for some of the firm’s largest U.S. and multi-national corporate clients. She brings 15 years of investment and financial services experience across investment management, credit research, and capital markets consulting.

Prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, she was a credit strategist for Morgan Stanley, covering U.S. corporate credit. Previously, she was a manager in Deloitte & Touche’s regulatory and capital markets consulting practice for the investment management industry. Maya holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in finance with honors from the NYU Stern School of Business. She is a CFA® charterholder.

Maya grew up in Kazakhstan. She earned a high school scholarship in Senator Bill Bradley’s Future Leaders Exchange program to come to the US, and spent a year as an exchange student living with a host family in the Midwest. She moved to New York City to attend university at age 16 and has called the city home ever since. Maya currently lives in Manhattan with her husband, a native of France, and son; they enjoy spending time in Paris and Brittany.
