Emanuele Ferragina

Emanuele Ferragina is Associate Professor of Sociology at Sciences Po Paris, a member of the Observatoire Sociologique du Changement (OSC, CNRS) and the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire d’Evaluation des Politiques Publiques (LIEPP). Prior to Sciences Po, he was a Lecturer at the University of Oxford where he also received his PhD. Emanuele is interested in comparative social policy. Besides academia, he has established the think tank Fonderia Oxford, he is a columnist for the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, and he has appeared in several Italian political talk shows on issues related to the welfare state and inequality. He is currently a visiting Alliance scholar at Columbia University.
