The French-American Foundations in the US and France hosted a joint Zoom webinar on Thursday, June 25 at 12:30pm ET with two Young Leaders, Bertrand Badré (French Young Leader ’02) and Philippe Manière (French Young Leader ’94), to discuss the world after COVID-19.
Bertrand Badré: Bertrand Badré is CEO and Founder of Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital. Previously, Bertrand was Managing Director of the World Bank and World Bank Group Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, Bertrand was group Chief Financial Officer at Société Générale and Crédit Agricole and served as a member of President Jacques Chirac’s diplomatic team as his deputy personal representative for Africa.
Philippe Manière: Philippe Manière is the president and co-founder of Vae Solis Communications, a Paris-based consulting firm specializing in communications, crisis communications and public affairs. He sits at the board of Aspen France and the French-American Foundation (France). He also was a board member of Humanity in Action (France) from 2007 to 2012. He sat at the Commission Economique de la Nation for seven years. He was made a Knight in the Order of Legion of Honour in 2009.
