Partner Event: Discussion and Film Screening on Mental Health – Jean Vanie

On October 18, Le Projet Imagine invites you to a discussion and film screening on mental health of “Jean Vanier” at the United Nations Headquarters. Jean Vanier: The Sacrament of Tenderness is a documentary film directed by Frédérique Bedos, a French journalist and founder of the French NGO.

The documentary depicts the story of Jean Vanier, a Canadian humanist who founded The Arche in 1964, an international federation active in 35 countries dedicated to support people with mental disabilities.

The event will be an opportunity to collectively raise awareness on mental health problems and change the narratives about people with disabilities.

The film is in French and English with French and English subtitles.
