Born in Paris with three nationalities (French, Polish, and Swiss), Kamil graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1993, and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in 1996—including a one-year internship in Warsaw, Poland
He started his professional career with the oil company Total as a Drilling Engineer, first on rigs in Scotland and Argentina, then as an expatriate in Dubai. From 2001-2004, he worked for the management consultancy McKinsey, based in Paris.
Kamil joined the building materials company Lafarge in 2004, working as Strategy and Development Manager; the following year, he became General Manager for the Serbian business unit. In 2008, he moved to China, as General Manager for the Chongqing business unit— an organization comprising 2500 employees and 6 plants. He returned to the Paris headquarters in September 2010, as Senior Vice President Supply Chain and Distribution Project, before assuming his current role as Senior Vice President Distribution Segment—a worldwide responsibility.
Kamil enjoys learning foreign languages; he is able to hold conversations in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Serbian and Chinese. He also likes to practice sports and play the piano.
