Business and Ethics

Pulitzer Prize-winning financial columnist Gretchen Morgenson of The New York Times and the Rev. J. Douglas Ousley of the Church of the Incarnation spoke on the challenges of establishing and following ethical standards in the financial industry in the wake of the financial crisis of 2008. Morgenson shared insights about the moral lapses that contributed to the financial crisis from her recent book, “Reckless Endangerment: How Outsized Ambition, Greed, and Corruption Led to Economic Armageddon," co-authored by Joshua Rosner. The event, hosted and co-sponsored by Pace University’s Global Business Programs, was moderated by Pierre de Gasquet, New York bureau chief of French financial newspaper Les Echos.
