Courants Study Tours

Examining cultural policy in France and the United States

For more than ten years, the French-American Foundation, in partnership with the French Ministry of Culture and Communication and with the support of the Florence Gould Foundation and Air France, has organized study tours for cultural professionals to examine priorities and trends in their field of expertise, in both France and the United States. The program consists of two study tours each year, one in the United States and one in France, involving a delegation of carefully selected high-level French and American experts. The study tours feature meetings and “site visits” with leading professionals that provide a platform for dialogue and exchange of best practices, by showcasing successful models and innovative approaches within different cultural fields and institutions.
